Tokara is situated to the east of Table Mountain and rests on the Simonsberg side of the Banghoek Valley, lending structure, perfume and longevity to the wines. The Highlands vineyard lies to the south of Stellenbosch in Elgin, a cool-climate area atop Sir Lowry’s Pass. Soils are predominantly Table Mountain sandstone imparting an ethereal scent to our Chardonnay and Sauvignon blanc. Tokara wines are consistently excellent and many have reached legendary five star status including the Telos which was launched to an international audience including Steven Spurrier in London. Tokara offers a Premium, Limited and Reserve Collection of outstanding quality.
